Over the weekend, think about your favorite artist work you want to appropriate and start collecting images you need for the assignment. Here is examples of artists whose work is known for appropriating and post appropriating. Please research these artists to get inspiration.

Sophomore Review

Hello Everyone!

Here is the criteria for sophomore review. The review is scheduled to take place on Thursday 12th and 13th at B162 (photo digital lab)

We would like to finish the review in one day if at all possible. Please send me your availability on Thursday(12th) and Friday(13th). Each candidate will receive 20 mins for powerpoint presentation and Q&A.

Your powerpoint should include the following:

1. AD119: 9 digital file (720x480, 72dpi)

2. AD267: 9 digital files

3. AD269: 9 digital files

You should also bring physical prints of the following:

1. AD117: 9 prints

2. AD119: 9 prints

3. AD267: 4-5 prints

4. AD269: 9 prints

The powerpoint presentation should be about 10 mins at the maximum.  Leave 10 mins for Q&A.

Be prepare to talk about the statement of intent of your work in most concise, concrete, and succinct way.
